This spring, we put out a call for an adventure-driven storyteller to travel overseas and chronicle unforgettable experiences through journals and sunlit photos. Now, we’ve chosen a shining new Suntern to explore some of Europe’s most coveted cities and create lasting memories through each captured moment.

Meet Our New Suntern

Fueled by a desire to see the world, recent Michigan State University grad Jalen Smith is ready to rise—and shine—as the Days Inn Suntern. This first-time traveler hopes to share ideas and experiences with people in new places, to build on his belief that “we are more similar than we are different.” Follow along for a closer look as Jalen stops in London, Liverpool, and Nice this August.
