Earn and redeem changes at Knights Inn®

Wyndham Hotel Group has announced its intention to sell the Knights Inn hotel brand to RLH Corporation. As a result, effective May 2, 2018, the brand will no longer be a part of Wyndham Rewards. Here’s what this change means for our members:

  • Members can continue to earn Wyndham Rewards points or Travel Partner Currency for Qualified Stays at Knights Inn hotels with check-in dates on or before May 1, 2018 and checkout dates on or before May 10, 2018. Members may also redeem Wyndham Rewards points at a Knights Inn hotel through May 1, 2018.

  • Beginning May 2, 2018, members who check in to a Knights Inn hotel will no longer earn Wyndham Rewards points or Travel Partner Currency for any nights of that stay, nor will they be able to redeem points at Knights Inn locations.

  • Members may continue making reservations at Knights Inn hotels for stays with check-in dates after May 1, 2018, but should do so with the understanding that those reservations will no longer earn Wyndham Rewards points or Travel Partner Currency. Go freeSM and go fastSM awards with check-in dates on or after May 2, 2018 should be honored, however, as of May 2, 2018, members may no longer book additional award nights.

  • Subject to the above, any existing reservations a member has at a Knights Inn will be honored.

If I have an existing Knights Inn reservation planned on or after May 2, 2018, will I earn points or Travel Partner Currency for that stay?

No. Only Qualified Stays with check-in dates on or before May 1, 2018 and checkout dates on or before May 10, 2018 will earn Wyndham Rewards points or Travel Partner Currency.

Can I continue to redeem points for an award night at a Knights Inn hotel?

Yes. Through May 1, 2018, Members may redeem their points for award nights at Knights Inn hotels.  After May 1, 2018, Members will no longer be able to redeem their points for award nights at Knights Inn hotels. 

 

I already have a go fast/go free reservation for a date on or after May 2, 2018. What will happen to my reservation?

Any existing go fast/go free reservations, regardless of date, should remain intact and be honored at check in.

 

Will my Qualified Stays at Knights Inn still count towards my Wyndham Rewards Member Level?

Qualifying Nights at Knights Inn hotels with check-in dates of May 1, 2018 or earlier and checkout dates on or before May 10, 2018 will count towards your Wyndham Rewards member level.

 

I already have a reservation at a Knights Inn for a date on or after May 2, 2018. What will happen to my reservation?

The rate/discount/promotion booked for any existing reservation with a check-in date on or after May 2, 2018, should remain intact and be honored at check in. Members, however, will not earn Wyndham Rewards base points, Wyndham Rewards bonus points or Travel Partner Currency for any stays at Knights Inn hotels with check-in dates on or after May 2, 2018 and/or checkout dates on or after May 10, 2018, regardless of the rate/discount/promotion booked and the booking date of such reservation.  Should you wish to modify your reservation, please contact Member Services at 1-866-996-7937.
