Since opening its doors in Aberdeen, SD in 1974, Super 8 by Wyndham has served as a home-away-from-home for millions of travelers, especially truckers.

 

We’re turning 50, but we don’t look, feel, or act like it. Reinvigorated by a $100 million modern makeover, we’re kicking off a year-long celebration for our 50th anniversary with an eight-day, eight-city road tour, giving truckers and guests their own super fresh makeovers along the way.

Now through August 15, Super 8 team members, guests, and the public can score a free hair consult and cut from a professional hairstylist at select Super 8 hotels. Read on to learn more!

Get the VIP Treatment with Kim Kimble

Helping highway long-haulers get their new look is entrepreneur and hairstylist to the stars Kim Kimble, known for her recent work on HBO’s hit series "Euphoria". A third-generation hair stylist, Kimble started her career as a shampoo girl at her family’s salon in Los Angeles before rising through the ranks and becoming a beauty industry trailblazer.
