Wyndham Rewards® App Short Form Privacy Notice

What do we collect?

Personal Data (data such as name, address, phone number, email, financial information, etc.)

  • We may collect information from you when you interact with us using the App, which may include your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, login credentials, Member ID#, payment card information, and financial information.  

Location Data (precise past or current location of where a user has gone)

  • We may collect your geo-location - accessed via enabled location services functionality on your device – to allow you to search for properties near your current location.  In addition, the App may use your reservation itinerary and your geo-location, if enabled, to provide you with additional services, such as an alert that welcomes you to the property when you are within a certain distance, Assisted Bookings, and information about Uber availability within a certain distance of your location if the Uber App is downloaded on your device.  

User Files (files on your device containing your content, such as calendar, photos, text, or video)  

  • While we do not collect any data from the calendar on your device, the App may access your calendar to set a calendar event for your stay.   


Who do we share with?

Data Analytics Providers (companies that collect and analyze your data)

  • When you download and use the App, we and our service providers may track and collect App usage data, such as the date and time the App on your device accesses our servers and what information and files have been downloaded to the App based on your device number.   


We do not collect:

  • Biometrics (information about your body, such as fingerprints, facial recognition, signatures and/or voice print)
  • Browser History (a list of websites visited)
  • Contacts (list of your contacts, your social networking connections or their phone numbers, postal, email or text addresses)
  • Health, Medical or Therapy Info (health claims and other information used to measure health or wellness)
  • Phone or Text Log (list of calls or texts made or received)


We do not share with:

  • Ad Networks (companies that display ads to you through Apps)
  • Carriers (companies that provide mobile connections)
  • Consumer Data Resellers (companies that sell consumer information to other companies for multiple purposes including offering products and services that may interest you)
  • Government Entities (any sharing with the government except where required by law or expressly permitted in an emergency)
  • Operating Systems and Platforms (software companies that power your device, App stores, and companies that provide common tools and information for Apps about App consumers)
  • Other Apps (other Apps of companies that you may not have a relationship with)
  • Social Networks (companies that connect individuals around common interests and facilitate sharing)
